The first in a series of Kitfox's Nuzlocke comics, Kit's Sapphire Nuzlocke depicts the wacky adventures of Kit Crimson, definitely not the brightest tool in the shed, as he travels across the crazy world of Pokemon Sapphire Hoenn. What ensues is a non-stopping flood of silliness, references and fourth-wall breaking. The first page of the comic was uploaded on July 27th, 2011 and the last one, page #64, on December 22nd, 2011. Soon afterwards, a sequel comic, "Kit's Platinum Nuzlocke", launched, following Kit to the Sinnoh region.

The RulesEdit

Kit's Sapphire Nuzlocke follows the standard Nuzlocke rules.

  1. If a Pokemon faints, it is dead and can be used no more.
  2. Only the first Pokemon encountered in each area can be captured, the only exception being shiny Pokemon.

When it comes to humor, few runs come close to the level of Kit's Sapphire Nuzlocke. The sheer number of jokes, hilarious characters and references is astounding. Despite that the battles are intense and exciting while the unavoidable Nuzlocke drama works very well too. The comic is hand-drawn and mostly in black and white, though it features some colors during the most important moments.

  • At the beginning of his journey Kit chose the Hoenn fire starter Torchic - simply mistaking it for a football. His rivals are May and Wally.
