A sequel to "Kit's Sapphire Nuzlocke", this Platinum comic run is a continuation of Kit Crimson's journeys. This time, he attempts to collect the legendary Spoink Balls in order to revive his dead companions from Hoenn. Drawn once again by Kitfox, it started on May 24th, 2012 and concluded on January 1st, 2013 with 75 pages. The third installment of Kit's adventures, a peculiar "Kit's Distortion Zone Nuzlocke" started soon afterwards.
Once again Kit's Nuzlocke follows the most basic of Nuzlocke rules.
- If a Pokemon faints, it dies.
- Only the first Pokemon on each route can be caught.
Very similar to its predecessor, Kit's Platinum Nuzlocke is once again, a hand-drawn, occasionally-colored adventure of hilarious nonsense and ridiculous stupidity. Though slightly more story-driven, it has the same spirit of its prequel, surprising its readers non-stop with jokes and references. Kit's Platinum Nuzlocke is another great way to have lots of fun with delightfully silly characters.
- This time Kit's starter is a water type Piplup named Blue Ribbon. Obviously, he mistakes it for a basketball.
- Kit's Platinum Nuzlocke was nominated in two categories of the Nuzlocke Forums Extravaganza 2012: Sadest Death and Funniest Run. It won the first place in both of them.
